Still needs a little more cleaning, but has made improvement with floors, and eliminating debris. Storage room cleaned. All remaining temperatures ok. No usage of metal cans noted. Reminder to contact pest company should mouse activity return.

Comments: Operator states was aware that Pepsi cooler was malfunctioning with high temperatures the morning of inspection. Potentailly hazardous items were not removed to appropriately monitored unit. Instructed to remove cooler from service until repair is completed and unit is operating to hold all items at less than 45°F. Contact HDO at 315-866-6879 before returning to service. Education provided re: Metal can retention. Only food grade containers with proper labeling may be used to retain any items held longer than one day’s usage. Instructed to clean and sanitize areas in rear storage with rodent feces, and contact pest control for treatments, as necessary. Continue to monitor for activity. Instructed that additional cleaning of floors throughout facility are required. Also, cleaning of walk-in cooler walls. Re-inspect in 2 weeks.
