Manager stated that facility will be remodeled around October to install new equipment.

Comments: Inspection conducted in response to complaint received 9/10/2018 regarding sick staff members working with food. After discussion with manager, she stated that there was one staff member with minor cold earlier in the day, but they were only running the register and did not handle any food. Sick staff member started shift voluntarily and asked to go home approximately 1 hour later. Sick worker policy observed on wall near manager’s office. Manager was also sick with minor cold, but was not handling food at time of inspection. No major illness symptoms observed amongst staff members. Cold-holding temperatures: drink prep reach-in cooler creamer 42F, sandwich prep station cooler hash browns 32F, rear reach-in cooler (to right of dairy reach-in) raw sausage patty 41F. Temperatures are checked once every 4 hours. Product thermometer and quaternary ammonia test strips to evaluate concentration of sanitizing solution provided.
