| InSite Solutions is a school-based mental health consulting and service organization founded and operated by child psychologists that specializes in the implementation, enhancement, and delivery of school-based mental health services for children ages pre-k through grade 12. InSite Solutions model has core four components: A detailed needs assessment allows InSite Solutions team to assess the rates, types, and frequency of psychopathology, psychosocial stressors, and special educational needs within each school we serve. Next, we assess existing mental health systems and policies, and, where needed, recommend enhancements, including InSite Solutions mobile data tracking tools; to most effectively support the social/emotional needs of students. We also provide ongoing training for school personnel in evidence-based practices including evidenced-based behavioral health curricula within the classroom, school-wide frameworks for positive behavioral supports, fundamentals in classroom behavior management, support in implementation of social-emotional curricula, and training in evidence-based interventions. Central to InSite Solutions mission is an emphasis to mitigate barriers to high quality empirically validated mental health care for school-aged children across Washington, DC. Thus, via InSite Solutions Clinic Without Walls model, students can benefit from the most effective forms of mental health support available in our region, all within the convenience of their school and at no charge to the childs family. These services include: Individualized evidenced-based psychotherapy from doctoral level psychologist, parent resource centers to help support improved family functioning, access to board certified child psychiatrists to write and manage medications as needed, case consultation to school staff for children with high mental health needs, and access to our community referral and liaison services network. |
