All hot & cold food items checked with the DOH thermocouple measured 140 degrees or above & 45 degrees or below respectively. A bacteriological water sample was taken by the Inspector from the cold water tap in the food car as a precautionary measure only. The chlorine residual measured 0.04. The water used in the food car for any food prep is all bottled water anyhow which was confirmed by the Inspector. The back flow prevention device was installed on the outside hose used at the Lake Placid Station which is utilized to refill the two 200 gallon water holding tanks on the train. This was cited on the 2012 inspection and corrected, thank you. |
